Our Bible Classes
We believe that Christian education for all ages is important; therefore, we offer Bible classes for all ages.
All classes are located in the lower level of the school building.
Sunday School - Sundays, 9:15-10:15 AM.
Is for children age 3-12. Surrounded by many instructional AV and print aids, caring teachers share Bible stories and help the children express themselves through discussion, drawing, crafts and other projects.
Youth Bible Class - Sundays, 9:15-10:15 AM.
Is for our teens; giving them an opportunity to learn and share their faith among their peers.
Adult Sunday Bible Class - Sundays, 9:15-10:15 AM.
Taught by Pastor Gavin, a wide variety of topics are offered.
Topics include: Bible studies; Bible history; Christian Church beliefs, practices and history; courses in Islam, Judaism and the Cults; The Bible: origin and translations; The Life and Ministry of Jesus; Marriage; Death and Afterlife and so many, many more!
An extensive Media Library of video/DVD materials, which are viewed on a large TV plasma screen, are used extensively to enhance our studies.
Also available is a Bible Research/Study Library of print materials which can be borrowed to read at home.
And...every class begins with an "Open Forum", the opportunity for you to ask your questions of Pastor...whether those questions (or comments) might be about the Sunday worship service; or some item you heard or read about over the past week; or just something that's on your mind. Lively discussions can often arise from these questions and comments.
Mid-Week Bible Class - Wednesdays, 10:00-11:30 AM.
This class which is also taught by Pastor Gavin is similar to the Adult
Sunday Bible Class...but with some added benefits.
As a 90 minute class, so much more can be shared and learned without the "time restrictions" of the Sunday morning class. This grants more time for the "Open Forum" discussion; as well as more viewing time for supplemental media.
Also, many of the students have the habit of bringing "treats and refreshments" for the class and so more fellowship opportunity adds to the total enjoyment of this weekly experience.
